Marcia Price

Marcia Price is an American politician serving as a member of the Virginia House of Delegates for the 85th district, which encompasses parts of Hampton and Newport News. A member of the Democratic Party, she has been a prominent advocate for voting rights, notably sponsoring the Voting Rights Act of Virginia. In addition to her legislative duties, she serves as the chair of the House Privileges and Elections Committee. Price comes from a family with a history of public service; she is the daughter of former Newport News mayor McKinley L. Price and the niece of U.S. Representative Bobby Scott.
