Marcin Krupa

Marcin Krupa is a Polish politician and academic who has served as the Mayor of Katowice since 2014. Before his election as mayor, he served as a city councilor and as the deputy mayor of Katowice from 2010 to 2014. An engineer by training, he holds a doctorate in technical sciences and previously worked as an assistant professor at the Silesian University of Technology. Throughout his political career, he has been involved in regional governance, including serving as the chairman of the assembly of the Metropolis GZM.
