Marcus Brown

Marcus Brown is an American politician serving as a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives for the 127th district, representing parts of Bridgeport. First elected in 2022 and sworn into office in 2023, he currently serves as an Assistant Majority Leader and Vice Chair of the Transportation Committee. Before his legislative career, Brown worked in the non-profit sector focusing on job training and placement for young people. In the legislature, he has advocated for the elimination of the state car tax, the establishment of a Child Tax Credit, and securing funding for local school infrastructure in Bridgeport.
