Marcus William Vermey is an Australian politician serving as a member for the electorate of Clark in the Tasmanian House of Assembly. Elected in the 2025 Tasmanian state election, he previously contested the 2024 state election and the 2025 Legislative Council election for the district of Nelson. In August 2025, he was appointed as the government whip by Premier Jeremy Rockliff. Before entering parliament, Vermey worked as a butcher and resides in Sandy Bay with his wife, Rachel.
