Marek Čižmár

Marek Čižmár is a Slovak municipal and regional politician who has served as the Mayor of Trebišov since 2015. Before his election as mayor, he served as a member of the Trebišov municipal council from 2011 to 2014 and has been a member of the Košice Self-Governing Region assembly since 2013. An educator by profession, he holds a doctorate in philosophy and previously worked as a teacher and director at the St. John the Baptist Church Gymnasium in Trebišov.
