Otokar Klein

Otokar Klein is a Slovak politician and professional opera singer who has served as the Mayor of Nové Zámky since 2014. Before entering local politics, he enjoyed a distinguished international career as a tenor, performing at prestigious venues including the Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava, the National Theatre in Prague, and various opera houses across Vienna, Dresden, Zurich, and Amsterdam. He received his musical education at the Conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. Since his election as mayor, he has focused on local governance and community engagement in his hometown.
