Katarína Macháčková

Katarína Macháčková is a Slovak lawyer and politician currently serving as the Mayor of Prievidza. She has held this office since 2010, having been re-elected multiple times. A graduate of Comenius University in Bratislava with a law degree, she previously worked as an attorney and served as a member of the Trenčín Regional Council. Throughout her political career, she has been associated with several parties, including #SIEŤ and SPOLU, though she has also run as an independent candidate. Her tenure has been marked by her involvement in local municipal governance and various regional policy initiatives.
