Marek Kuchciński is a Polish politician and former journalist who has served as a member of the Sejm since 2001. A prominent figure in the Law and Justice party, he held the office of Marshal of the Sejm from 2015 to 2019 and served as the Chief of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister from 2022 to 2023. During the 1980s, he was active in the anti-communist opposition movement, notably within the Solidarity trade union. Throughout his career, he has focused on regional development and international cooperation, particularly through the 'Carpathian Europe' initiative.
