Stanisław Karczewski

Stanisław Karczewski is a Polish politician and surgeon who has served as a member of the Senate of Poland since 2005. A member of the Law and Justice party, he previously held the high-ranking position of Marshal of the Senate from 2015 to 2019 and served as Deputy Marshal of the Senate during two separate terms. Before entering national politics, he was active in local government in the Grójec County and the Mazovian regional council. Professionally, he is a trained surgeon who spent decades working at the district hospital in Nowe Miasto nad Pilicą, where he served as both director and head of the surgery department.
