First elected to the Sejm in 2001, he has served continuously through multiple terms, including as the head of the Political Cabinet of the Prime Minister from 2017 to 2019. Throughout his parliamentary career, he has chaired several key committees, including the Committee on Energy, Climate and State Assets. Before entering politics, he worked in theater and cultural administration.
