Margaret Curran is a British politician and member of the House of Lords. A long-standing figure in Scottish politics, she served as a Member of the Scottish Parliament for Glasgow Baillieston from 1999 to 2011, holding various ministerial roles including Minister for Communities. She later served as the Member of Parliament for Glasgow East from 2010 to 2015 and held the position of Shadow Secretary of State for Scotland.
