Margie Nightingale is an Australian politician serving as the Labor Party member for the electorate of Inala in the Legislative Assembly of Queensland. Born in Brisbane in 1972, she was raised in the Inala community and spent her early career working as a nurse and a teacher. Prior to her election to parliament, she also served as a policy adviser to Queensland Treasurer Cameron Dick. Nightingale was first elected in the 2024 Inala state by-election, succeeding former premier Annastacia Palaszczuk, and was subsequently re-elected in the 2024 Queensland state election.
