Julian Hill is an Australian politician serving as a member of the House of Representatives for the division of Bruce since 2016. A member of the Australian Labor Party's left faction, he currently serves as the Assistant Minister for Citizenship, Customs and Multicultural Affairs and Assistant Minister for International Education. Before his federal career, Hill was a councillor and the youngest-ever mayor of the City of Port Phillip. He is known for his advocacy on multiculturalism, science policy, and his critical stance on the monarchy, and he has previously worked as a senior public servant for the Victorian Government.
