Stephen Bali is an Australian politician serving as the Labor member for the Electoral District of Blacktown in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly since 2017. Before his state parliamentary career, he served as a councillor and mayor of Blacktown City Council from 2004 to 2019. Bali previously worked as an official for the Australian Workers Union and as a lecturer at the University of Newcastle and the University of Western Sydney. He is also known for his community activism, including his role as chair of the Better Foundation, which supports local hospitals in the Blacktown and Mount Druitt areas.
