Maria Guzenina is a Finnish politician and former media personality who has served as a Member of the Parliament of Finland since 2007. Before entering politics, she gained national prominence as the first Finnish video jockey for MTV Europe and as a television and radio journalist. During her parliamentary career, she served as the Minister of Health and Social Services from 2011 to 2013. Her political work focuses on social services, childcare, and family policy. Additionally, she has been an active member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe since 2013, where she has held roles including Vice-President of the Assembly.
