Mariameno Kapa-Kingi is a New Zealand politician currently serving as the Member of Parliament for Te Tai Tokerau. Born in Te Kao and raised in Onerahi, she spent over thirty years working in iwi health and social services, including roles as a project specialist for Te Rūnanga o Whaingaroa and chief executive of Te Rūnanga Nui o Te Aupōuri Trust. After being elected in 2023 representing Te Pāti Māori, she later became an independent MP in 2026 and announced the formation of the Te Tai Tokerau Party.
