Mariangela Matera

Mariangela Matera is an Italian politician currently serving as a Member of the Chamber of Deputies. Born in Andria in 1967, she graduated with a degree in Economics and Commerce from the University of Bari in 1991. Before entering politics, she established a professional career as a chartered accountant and is registered in the Legal Auditors' Register. Matera first ran for office in the 2020 regional elections in Apulia but was not elected. She subsequently won a seat in the Chamber of Deputies during the 2022 general election, representing the center-right coalition in the Andria constituency.
