Marie-Christine Marghem

Marie-Christine Marghem is a Belgian politician currently serving as a member of the Walloon Parliament. A lawyer by training, she began her political career in 1994 as a municipal councillor in Tournai, where she has held various local leadership roles, including deputy mayor. Nationally, she served as the Federal Minister of Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development from 2014 to 2020, overseeing critical energy transition policies. She is a member of the Reformist Movement and has been recognized for her parliamentary work on national commissions regarding financial and social issues.
