Denis Ducarme is a Belgian politician and a long-serving member of the Chamber of Representatives, having held his seat since 2003. Born in 1973, he is the son of Daniel Ducarme, a prominent figure in Belgian politics. Ducarme holds a master's degree in political sciences, international relations, and European integration from the Université libre de Bruxelles. Throughout his career, he has served as an alderman in Thuin and as a provincial councillor for Hainaut. Between 2017 and 2020, he held federal ministerial positions, including Minister of the Middle Class, SMEs, Self-employed, Agriculture, and Social Integration within the Michel and Wilmès governments. He is a member of the liberal Reformist Movement party.
