Gaëtan Van Goidsenhoven is a Belgian politician and member of the Reformist Movement (MR). Born in Uccle in 1973, he has held various political roles, including serving as the Mayor of Anderlecht from 2007 to 2012. Currently, he serves as a member of the Parliament of the Brussels-Capital Region, a representative in the Parliament of the Walloon-Brussels Federation, and the president of the MR group in the Belgian Senate. A historian by training, he has focused his legislative work on urban planning, sustainable development, and space policy, including initiatives to regulate space resource exploitation and reduce space pollution.
