Marie-Sophie Künkel

Marie-Sophie Künkel is a German politician and lawyer serving as a member of the Landtag of Hesse. Born in Marburg, she studied law at the Philipps-Universität Marburg and completed her legal training in Frankfurt. A member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) since 2015, she has held various local political roles, including serving as a municipal representative in Bad Endbach and as the chair of the district council of Marburg-Biedenkopf. Since her election to the Landtag in 2023, she has been active in committees concerning internal affairs, legal policy, and judicial administration.
