Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda

Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda is a Mexican politician and attorney currently serving as the Governor of Baja California, becoming the first woman to hold the position. A member of the MORENA party, she previously served as the first female mayor of Mexicali from 2019 to 2021 and represented Baja California's 2nd electoral district in the Chamber of Deputies.
