Marina Elvira Calderone is an Italian politician and labor consultant who has served as the Minister of Labour and Social Policies in the Meloni Cabinet since October 2022. Before entering government, she held a long-standing career as a labor consultant, serving as the President of the National Council of the Order of Labour Consultants from 2005 to 2022. She has also served on the board of directors for Leonardo-Finmeccanica. As Minister, she has been a key figure in the reform of Italy's social welfare system, including the introduction of the Inclusion Allowance to replace the previous Citizens' Income program.
