Mario Beaulieu is a Canadian politician serving as the Member of Parliament for La Pointe-de-l'Île since 2015. A prominent advocate for Quebec sovereignty and the preservation of the French language, he previously served as the leader of the Bloc Québécois from 2014 to 2015 and again as interim leader from 2018 to 2019. Before his federal parliamentary career, he was the president of the Société Saint-Jean-Baptiste of Montreal and a long-time activist for the Mouvement Québec français. He currently serves as the vice chair of the Canadian House of Commons Standing Committee on Official Languages.
