Mario De Mezzo

Mario De Mezzo is a Romanian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Slatina, a position he assumed following the 2024 local elections. Prior to his election as mayor, he served as the Prefect of Olt County from August 2023 to April 2024. Before entering public office, De Mezzo held leadership roles in the corporate and non-profit sectors, including serving as the national director for Habitat for Humanity in Romania. He is a member of the National Liberal Party and has focused his administration on urban reform and local governance.
