Marjan van Kampen-Nouwen

Marjan van Kampen-Nouwen is a Dutch politician and administrator affiliated with the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA). Since October 1, 2013, she has served as the Mayor of Schagen. Her extensive career in local government includes roles as an alderman and deputy mayor of Drechterland, as well as serving as acting mayor for the municipalities of Wieringen, Langedijk, and Teylingen. Additionally, she held the position of acting mayor of Bergen from November 2024 to September 2025. Beyond her political duties, she has been active in various public and cultural organizations, including roles as chair of Sportvisserij Nederland and the supervisory board of the Zuiderzeemuseum.
