Mark Brody

Mark Allen Brody is an American politician serving as a member of the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing the 55th district since 2013. Born in Wisconsin, he previously worked as a licensed general contractor and served in the United States Navy Reserve. Brody holds a Bachelor of Arts from Concordia University Wisconsin and has been involved in the governance of the Union Day School in Waxhaw. Throughout his legislative career, he has held various committee leadership roles, including chairing the Local Government and Agriculture committees. He is known for his conservative political stances and has been a vocal critic of national teachers' unions.
