Ted Davis Jr.

Robert Theodore Davis Jr. is an American politician serving as a member of the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing the 19th district since 2012. A lawyer by profession, he previously served on the New Hanover Board of County Commissioners. Throughout his legislative career, Davis has maintained a conservative voting record, supporting restrictions on abortion access, advocating for the repeal of the Common Core educational standards, and voting in favor of House Bill 2. He has also held leadership roles, including serving as senior chairman of the House Special Select Committee on River Water Quality, where he has focused on environmental oversight and water quality issues.
