Mark Obenshain is an American politician and attorney currently serving as a member of the Senate of Virginia, representing the 26th district since 2004. A member of the Republican Party, he is known for his conservative voting record and has served on various committees including the Courts of Justice and the Privileges and Elections Committee. Beyond his legislative career, he is the founder of the Obenshain Law Group and previously served on the Board of Visitors for James Madison University. In 2013, he was the Republican nominee for Attorney General of Virginia.
