Mark Speakman

Mark Speakman is an Australian politician who has served as the Member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly for Cronulla since 2011. A lawyer by profession, he previously served as the Attorney General of New South Wales from 2017 to 2023 and held various ministerial portfolios, including Environment and Heritage. He also served as the Leader of the Opposition and Leader of the New South Wales Liberal Party from 2023 until 2025. Speakman is known for his support of gender quotas within the Liberal Party and his evolving stance on social issues, including abortion access.
