Mark Thane

Mark Thane is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Montana House of Representatives, representing the 99th district. He assumed office on January 4, 2021, following his election in November 2020. Prior to his legislative career, Thane dedicated 39 years to the Missoula County Public Schools, serving in various roles including director of human resources and labor relations, and eventually as superintendent until his retirement in 2019. He is a native of Missoula, Montana, and holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Education from the University of Montana.
