Markus Frohnmaier

Markus Frohnmaier is a German politician born in Romania who has served as a member of the Bundestag representing Baden-Württemberg since 2017. A member of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, he currently serves as one of the deputy chairmen of the AfD parliamentary group and is a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee. Previously, he led the Young Alternative for Germany, the party's youth wing, until 2018. His political career has been marked by controversy regarding his alleged ties to Russian influence networks, which he has consistently denied.
