Marja-Liisa Völlers

Marja-Liisa Völlers is a German politician and member of the Bundestag representing Lower Saxony since 2017. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD), she serves on the Committee on Health, the Committee on Education, Research and Technology Assessment, and the Defence Committee. Völlers is recognized for her work on digitization and inclusion, and she has served as a speaker for the Seeheim Circle since 2022. Additionally, she is a member of the German delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly and has contributed to coalition negotiations regarding foreign affairs and defense policy.
