Markus Kleemann

Markus Kleemann is a German politician who has served as the Lord Mayor of Sindelfingen since August 2025. A member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), he previously held the position of Mayor of Oberstenfeld from 2015 to 2025. Kleemann studied political and administrative science at the University of Konstanz and public management at Zeppelin University. Before his mayoral career, he worked as a parliamentary advisor to CDU state parliament member Friedlinde Gurr-Hirsch. He has also been active in local government and regional political associations, including the Ludwigsburg district council and the Europa-Union.
