Landtagswahlkreis Burg

Markus Kurze is a German politician serving as a member of the Landtag of Saxony-Anhalt. A member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), he has represented the Burg constituency since 2002. Throughout his tenure, he has consistently defended his direct mandate in the constituency, most recently securing re-election in the 2021 state election with 38.5% of the first-preference votes. He remains a long-standing representative for the Jerichower Land region within the state parliament.
