Markus Walter

Markus Walter is an Austrian politician representing the Communist Party of Austria (KPÖ). Born in Vöcklabruck in 1990, he pursued studies in social work and social innovation at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, graduating in 2022. Before entering politics, he worked in the social services sector and served as a works council member. In April 2024, he assumed office as a member of the Salzburg Landtag, succeeding Kay-Michael Dankl as a representative for the KPÖ.
