Maropene Ramokgopa

Maropene Ramokgopa is a South African politician and government minister serving as the Minister in the Presidency Responsible for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation. A member of the African National Congress (ANC), she has also held the position of Second Deputy Secretary-General of the party and serves as a Member of the National Assembly. Prior to her national cabinet appointments, she worked in diplomatic service as Consul-General to Mumbai, India, served as a special advisor on international relations to President Cyril Ramaphosa, and was executive mayor of the Siyanda District Municipality.
