Martha Garcia

Martha Garcia is an American politician currently serving as a member of the New Mexico House of Representatives for the 6th district. Appointed by Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham to fill a vacant seat, she assumed office on February 27, 2025. Her district encompasses significant portions of the Zuni Indian Reservation and the Navajo Nation. Prior to her legislative service, Garcia served as a Cibola County commissioner. She is recognized for her progressive political stance and commitment to justice and equity in her representation of the district.
