Martin Kallweitt

Martin Kallweitt is a German politician and member of the Landtag of Rhineland-Palatinate, having assumed office in 2026. Before entering state politics, he worked as a tax official and tax investigator after graduating from the University of Applied Sciences for Finance. A member of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party since 2016, he has served as a faction leader in the Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler city council and the Ahrweiler district council. His political platform emphasizes strict deportation policies, a return to a three-tiered education system, and regional infrastructure improvements following the Ahr valley flood.
