Martin Kinnunen

Martin Kinnunen is a Swedish-Finnish politician serving as a member of the Riksdag, the national legislature of Sweden. Born in 1983, he previously led the Sweden Democratic Youth (SDU) from 2005 to 2007 and worked as a press secretary for the Sweden Democrats. He was first elected to the Riksdag in 2014, initially representing Gothenburg Municipality before transitioning to represent Stockholm Municipality in 2018. Kinnunen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Stockholm University. In 2016, he was convicted of accounting fraud related to his work for party-affiliated companies, though he has continued his political career within the Sweden Democrats.
