Martin Michalik is a German politician and a member of the Bremische Bürgerschaft, representing the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). Born in Gliwice, Poland, he moved to Germany as a child. Before his parliamentary career, he worked as a train driver and studied law at the University of Bremen. Michalik served on the Vahr district advisory board from 2013 to 2019 before entering the state parliament. He currently serves as the deputy chairman of the CDU parliamentary group and acts as the party's spokesperson for energy policy, climate, and sustainability.
