René Gögge is a German politician and a member of the Hamburgische Bürgerschaft, representing the Alliance 90/The Greens. Born in 1985 in Bergen auf Rügen, he studied public management at HAW Hamburg before working as an employment agent at a job center and later in the administration of the Hamburg professional fire department. Gögge served in the district assembly of Hamburg-Nord from 2008 to 2014 and has been a member of the Hamburg state parliament since 2015. Throughout his legislative career, he has focused on cultural and scientific policy, and he has been an active advocate for LGBTQ+ rights through his work with the QueerGrün organization.
