Martin Rabanus

Martin Rabanus is a German politician who has served as a member of the Bundestag representing the state of Hesse. He first entered the federal parliament in 2013, serving until 2021, and returned to office in 2024. Throughout his parliamentary career, he has focused on education, research, and cultural policy, notably serving on the Committee for Culture and Media. Beyond his legislative duties, Rabanus holds leadership roles in several cultural and educational organizations, including the German Adult Education Association and the supervisory board of Deutsche Welle. He has also participated in multiple coalition government negotiations for the Social Democratic Party.
