Martina Braun

Martina Braun is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of Baden-Württemberg, representing the Alliance 90/The Greens. Born in Furtwangen im Schwarzwald, she initially worked as a pharmaceutical-technical assistant before managing an organic farm for many years. Entering politics in 2008, she served as a district councilor in Schwarzwald-Baar-Kreis before winning a direct mandate to the state parliament in 2016. Throughout her legislative career, she has focused on rural development, animal welfare, and agricultural policy, including advocacy against genetic engineering in agriculture.
