Martina Tegtmeier

Martina Tegtmeier is a German politician and a long-serving member of the Landtag of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, representing the SPD since 2006. Before entering state politics, she worked in wholesale and foreign trade and later served as a manager for the Social Democratic Community for Local Politics in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Throughout her parliamentary career, she has held various leadership roles, including chairing committees on social affairs, health, and labor, and serving as a spokesperson for women's, integration, and interior policy. She has been a consistent advocate for local self-administration and social equality within the state legislature.
