Mary Otucho Emaase

Mary Otucho Emaase is a Kenyan politician and accountant currently serving as a Member of the National Assembly for the Teso South constituency in Busia County. She first entered national politics in 2013 when she was elected as the Woman Representative for Busia, a position she held until 2017. During her initial tenure, she served on the Finance Committee and as vice chair of the Budget and Appropriations Committee. After an unsuccessful bid in 2017, she returned to Parliament in 2022 representing the United Democratic Alliance. Emaase is a graduate of Kenyatta University and previously worked as an accountant before her career in public service.
