Marzio Olivero

Marzio Olivero is an Italian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Biella, having been elected in June 2024 with the support of a center-right coalition. His extensive political career began in the 1980s with the Italian Social Movement, followed by roles as a local councilor and district president in Biella. Over the decades, he has served as a municipal councilor in various towns, including Rosazza and Ponderano, and held several administrative positions, including assessor for the province of Biella and the municipality of Biella, where he oversaw portfolios such as the environment, transport, and public works.
