Masud Gharahkhani

Masud Gharahkhani is an Iranian-born Norwegian politician who has served as the President of the Storting since 2021. A member of the Labour Party, he has represented Buskerud in the Norwegian parliament since 2017. Before entering national politics, he worked as a radiologic technologist and served as the secretary-general for the Buskerud Labour Party. Known for his focus on transparency and parliamentary ethics, he has led efforts to reform MP benefits and commuter housing rules while advocating for international cooperation and support for Ukraine.
