Matías Fernández Hartwig

Matías Fernández Hartwig is a Chilean politician and dentist serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies for the 24th District of the Los Ríos Region for the 2026–2030 term. A member of the Broad Front, he previously served two terms as a Regional Councillor for Los Ríos, where he focused on health, environmental sustainability, and regional development. Before entering national politics, he worked as a clinical dentist and university lecturer, and was active in student leadership and local environmental movements in Valdivia.
