Mateusz Morawiecki is a Polish politician and former banker who served as the Prime Minister of Poland from 2017 to 2023. Before his tenure as head of government, he held several ministerial positions, including Minister of Development and Minister of Finance. A member of the Law and Justice party, he has been a deputy in the Sejm since 2019 and currently serves as the chairman of the European Conservatives and Reformists Party. His career began in the banking sector, where he notably served as the president of Bank Zachodni WBK.
